Borderlands 4 Weekly Update Notes (4th June 2026)
Borderlands 4's June 4 weekly update fixes Harlowe's HALO Sidekicks and closes off an unintended launch pad exploit.

A small but focused one this week. Gearbox has pushed out the June 4 weekly update for Borderlands 4, and while it's not the raid boss or difficulty tier territory we saw back in 1.7, it addresses two specific issues that will matter to different parts of the playerbase.
The bigger quality-of-life change is to Harlowe's HALO Sidekicks, which will now activate their buff passively without requiring you to physically touch them. If you've been playing Harlowe and wondering why your Sidekick buffs felt inconsistent, this is almost certainly why. The second fix closes off unintended flight from ground-slamming on a launch pad, which sounds fun in theory but was clearly breaking intended movement in ways Gearbox didn't want sticking around.
Neither change is earth-shattering, but the Sidekick fix in particular is was probably silently frustrating a chunk of Harlowe players without them fully understanding the cause. A fresh set of Weekly Activities is also live alongside the update. Keep an eye on that Sidekick behaviour if Harlowe is your main.
