ARC Raiders Patch Notes 1.28.0 (12th May 2026)
ARC Raiders update 1.28.0 is live with a new store rotation, the final Patchwork outfit update, and a fix for missing skill points.
A small but tidy update for ARC Raiders today. Patch 1.28.0 is live now, and is The Castaway Set landing in the store rotation. If you haven't seen it yet, restart the game to pull the update down.
For players deep into the Third Expedition, the third and final update to the Patchwork outfit is now available, locked to those who departed in their Caravans. It's a nice reward loop for players who've been following that progression, and I'm glad Embark is treating it as a proper milestone rather than just a cosmetic drip.
There's also an important bug acknowledgement here: some players were missing skill points after departing on expeditions. According to the patch notes, the underlying issue has been fixed, but affected accounts haven't all been corrected yet. Embark says the missing skill points will be granted over the coming days, which is the right call. Losing skill points mid-run is the sort of thing that quietly kills a session, so getting ahead of it with a public statement rather than a silent fix earns them some credit.

The team is aware of an issue causing some expeditioners to be missing skill points after departing. While we have managed to solve the issue, we are still tracking down the remaining accounts affected and will be granting skill points in the following days.
