Apex Legends: Latest Update as of 2:00pm PT Notes (1st July 2026)
Respawn rolled out a minor update today addressing respawn audio clarity and a Sparrow bug that let her keep a charged Ultimate.

Respawn pushed a small update to Apex Legends today that tackles a couple of lingering issues. Nothing earth-shattering, but both fixes address real problems players have been dealing with.
The audio bump when respawning from a Death Box is the kind of quality-of-life change that sounds minor until you're in a fight and can't hear whether your teammate's actually coming back. Clarity matters when every second counts. More importantly, Sparrow's Ultimate bug is fixed, she was able to respawn with a fully charged ability, which is exactly the kind of exploit that warps competitive matches and shouldn't exist at this level of play.
It's a tight update focused on stability rather than balance shifts, which makes sense as the season settles. Look for the full changes below.
