Exciting news for fans of MultiVersus as a new trailer has been released showcasing The Joker in all his villainous glory. Not only that, but it looks like we might also be getting the beloved trio, The Powerpuff Girls, in the game!
First things first, the addition of The Joker was announced last week, with the legendary Mark Hamill lending his iconic voice to the character. The new trailer gives players a taste of his moves, his voice acting, and even some interactions with Harley Quinn.
The trailer starts off with the Bat Computer falling victim to a virus created by The Joker. However, before the chaos ensues, if you look closely, you can spot a teaser of The Powerpuff Girls in the top-right corner of the screen. This could mean that the superhero trio might finally join the roster.
The Powerpuff Girls were actually part of a leaked list of characters from the game's earlier days. Alongside them were characters like Samurai Jack, Fred Flintstone, and even Ted Lasso. This crossover fighting game truly has surprises in store for us!
MultiVersus originally launched in July 2022 as an open beta and garnered a massive player base in a short amount of time. Featuring characters from a range of Warner Bros. properties, including DC Comics, Looney Tunes, and Game of Thrones, it quickly became a fan favourite.
After a slight decline in player count, MultiVersus is making a grand comeback on May 28. With a new trailer showcasing Unreal Engine 5 graphics, exciting gameplay features, and the possibility of The Powerpuff Girls joining the battle, players have much to look forward to!
