Exciting news for Pokémon fans as The Pokémon Company has recently announced the establishment of a new subsidiary called Pokémon Works. This discovery was made by Serebii webmaster Joe Merrick and has sparked curiosity among the Pokémon community.

According to reports, Pokémon Works will share a building with ILCA, the company responsible for developing Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. While the exact purpose of Pokémon Works remains unknown, its connection to ILCA hints at potential exciting projects in the future.

It's important to note that ILCA is not owned or operated by The Pokémon Company, but it has a close partnership with the company, especially considering its involvement in projects like Pokémon Home and the Diamond and Pearl remakes.

On the other hand, ILCA has ties to Bandai Namco, as the two companies recently established a new studio together in 2022. This further adds to the intricate network of relationships within the gaming industry.

The Pokémon franchise is managed by multiple entities, including Nintendo, Creatures Inc, and Game Freak. Creatures Inc, founded by Tsunekazu Ishihara and the late Satoru Iwata, focuses primarily on The Pokémon Trading Card Game.

Game Freak, known for developing the main series of Pokémon games, is also responsible for overseeing various game-related products. The highly anticipated Pokémon Legends Z-A, the next installment in the Pokémon franchise, has been officially announced during a recent Pokémon Presents showcase.

In Pokémon Legends Z-A, players will revisit the Kalos region and Lumiose City, offering a fresh and exciting gameplay experience. The game is set to be released in 2025, much to the delight of Pokémon enthusiasts worldwide.
