Rocksteady, the developer behind Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, has hinted at the introduction of Mrs. Freeze with a frosty change to the game world in the latest patch.
Players recently discovered a small tease for Season 2 following the release of this week's Season 1 - Episode 2 update. A clip shared by the Arkham Videos X/Twitter account showcased an icy section of Metropolis along with an advertisement for Ho-Ho Frozen Chicken Bites.

While Rocksteady has not officially announced Season 2 or its contents, it is expected to bring a new playable character to the game. Season 1 introduced Joker to the live service co-op shooter.
The addition of Mrs. Freeze is not entirely unexpected for fans of Kill the Justice League, as previous datamining had hinted at upcoming playable characters including Mrs. Freeze, Lawless, and Deathstroke. Given the alternate-reality nature of the game, this version of Mrs. Freeze may be an Elseworlds variant of Mr. Freeze.
Earlier this year, players were surprised when main antagonist Brainiac seemed to leak the upcoming addition of Mrs. Freeze in-game. A Reddit user shared a gameplay clip showing Harley Quinn being referred to as Freeze by Brainiac, hinting at the character's arrival.
As reported recently, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has faced criticism and disappointing player numbers since its launch. Despite being set in the Arkhamverse, the game has not lived up to the expectations set by Rocksteady's previous Batman titles.
