Recently, the highly popular farming simulation game, Stardew Valley, received a major update 1.6 on PC, bringing in a plethora of new features and content for players to enjoy. With the addition of 8-player multiplayer support, new Festivals, endgame content, and more, the update was a significant milestone for the indie title that originally launched eight years ago.

Following the release of the update on PC, the game witnessed a surge in player numbers on Steam, indicating the excitement and enthusiasm surrounding the new content. However, players on consoles and mobile devices have been eagerly awaiting the update's availability on their platforms.

Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone, the creator of Stardew Valley, took to Twitter to provide an update on the development progress of Update 1.6 for consoles and mobile devices. He confirmed that the updates are in progress and will be released as soon as possible, although he did not specify an exact release date at this time.

Barone expressed his gratitude for the patience and understanding of the players, assuring them that he will share any significant updates as soon as they are available. Last year, he announced that he would be focusing on Update 1.6 and pausing development on his next project, Haunted Chocolatier, until the update is released on all platforms.

While players may have to wait a little longer for Update 1.6 to arrive on consoles and mobile devices, the anticipation and excitement for the new content are palpable. Stay tuned for further updates from ConcernedApe as development progresses towards the release on all platforms.
