Cloud Imperium Games recently revealed some exciting new features that will be introduced in the upcoming major update for Star Citizen, Alpha 3.23. The game is set to become even more immersive and engaging with these additions.

What to Expect in Alpha 3.23

The update, which is scheduled for release in April, will bring a host of enhancements to the game. One of the highlights is the introduction of new UI elements that will enhance the overall user experience. Players can look forward to seeing redesigned interfaces with and without helmets, a more streamlined looting interface, and an updated shopping interface.

Additionally, players will get a sneak peek at the revamped MobiGlas, the main interface of Star Citizen. The updated maps and other features are sure to elevate the gameplay experience for both new and seasoned players.

One of the most exciting reveals from Cloud Imperium Games is the introduction of fauna to the game's universe. The developer posted a teaser on their official Twitter account, showcasing the first animals that will make their appearance in Alpha 3.23.

We catch a glimpse of a fierce-looking bird and an equally menacing quadruped predator, hinting at the diverse wildlife players can expect to encounter in the vast universe of Star Citizen.

With over $674 million in crowdfunding and millions of registered users, Star Citizen continues to grow in popularity. Cloud Imperium Games has promised to release a roadmap to version 1.0, the "release" version, later this year.

The highly anticipated single-player campaign, Squadron 42, is nearing completion, sparking speculation about a possible release date announcement at CitizenCon in October.
