"A massive volume of specially selected songs, along with the theme song 'No Promises to Keep Loveless ver.' composed by the legendary Nobuo Uematsu, will be included in a seven-disc CD set," describes Square Enix.
Nobuo Uematsu, known for his stellar compositions for the first nine Final Fantasy games, has also agreed to compose the main theme for the third game of the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy.
While Uematsu expressed doubts about composing entire game soundtracks in the future, he shared his satisfaction with his work on Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's theme, No Promises to Keep.
Despite different composers working on Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth soundtracks, Uematsu's main themes for both games - 'Hollow' and 'No Promises to Keep' respectively - have left a lasting impact on fans.
Reflecting on his contributions to the Final Fantasy series, Uematsu expressed his gratitude for being able to continue creating music for the beloved franchise. "In 10, 20 years, when it’s my time to go, I’ll look back on this moment with tears in my eyes," he shared.
The Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth soundtrack, boasting 175 tracks, is now available for fans to enjoy, along with the option to pre-order the deluxe limited-edition music box that plays Aerith's Theme.
