Smite 2 Announced: A New Era of Mythological MOBA Gaming

In a groundbreaking announcement during the Smite World Championships, Titan Forge Games revealed the much-anticipated sequel to their popular multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Smite. Titled Smite 2, this sequel is poised to redefine the MOBA genre with its innovative features and enhanced gameplay.

Key Highlights of Smite 2:

  • Platform Availability: Smite 2 will be accessible on multiple platforms, including Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
  • Closed Alpha Testing: The game is set to enter closed alpha testing in spring 2024, though a specific release date is yet to be announced.
  • Initial Roster: At launch, Smite 2 will feature 25 gods, with plans to eventually incorporate every deity from the original game.

  • Continued Support for Smite: Titan Forge has committed to ongoing support for the original Smite, with the addition of its 130th hero later this year.
