Exciting news for fans of the popular fighting game, MultiVersus! The game has experienced a significant resurgence, with over 100,000 concurrent players returning to the game following its recent relaunch.

According to data from SteamDB, an independent Steam tracker, MultiVersus has seen a remarkable 114,515 concurrent players back in action. This resurgence accounts for nearly 75% of the game's all-time peak during its initial launch.

MultiVersus initially made waves in the gaming community, attracting a peak of 153,433 concurrent players on Steam. However, due to a declining player base and various issues, the game went offline for almost a year.

The game made a triumphant return on May 28, introducing three new playable fighters: The Joker from DC Comics, Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th, and Banana Guard from Adventure Time. Fans can also look forward to the upcoming addition of Agent Smith from The Matrix in the game's first season.

While some character reveals were unexpected surprises for players, others had been anticipated for some time, with references to them being datamined from the game. Datamining has been a persistent issue since the game's original release, with players uncovering numerous unreleased content.
