Activision has announced the much-anticipated updates for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 1 Reloaded. This mid-season update, crafted by the talented teams at Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software, promises to elevate your gaming experience with a plethora of new features and improvements.
New Additions and Enhancements:
- New Multiplayer Map: Rio - Dive into the action in the brand-new 6v6 map, Rio. This medium-sized battleground is set in a vibrant urban landscape, featuring a central shopping mall surrounded by diverse areas like a tram station, market, plaza, café, and residential spaces.
- Innovative Multiplayer Modes: The update introduces fresh multiplayer modes including Team Gunfight, Infected, and Headquarters. Additionally, Multiplayer Ranked Play is now available, allowing players to compete in 4v4 matches using professional Call of Duty League settings.
- The Boys Crossover Event: In an exciting crossover with the superhero franchise, The Boys, players can enjoy a limited-time Kill Confirmed mode with power boosts and a special Supe Siege event challenge to unlock a unique LMG weapon blueprint.
- Zombies Update: Zombies mode gets a thrilling addition with the introduction of the South Korean-born Warlord Dokkaebi. Defeating this formidable foe allows players to unlock high-tier loot.
- Warzone Updates: Warzone is not left behind, with the introduction of the Gulag Night Vision event, where players can battle in the dark. Additionally, the Champion’s Quest debuts in Urzikstan, challenging squads to win 30 games within a season or five consecutive matches to trigger a devastating end game.
Raven Software has temporarily disabled Warzone’s new Champion’s Quest feature after identifying performance issues post-update launch.
