As Season 1 of MLB The Show 24's Drive to Diamond continues, players are in for a treat with new content rolling into New York this May. The update includes Part 2 of the Derek Jeter storyline, the introduction of the futuristic Stadium Props Kit, and the launch of Team Affinity Chapter 3.
In Derek Jeter Part 2, players can step into the shoes of the legendary New York Yankees shortstop and relive some of his most iconic moments. From his incredible flip throw in the 2001 American League Division Series to becoming the Yankees' all-time hits leader, the storyline is packed with unforgettable events. Players can also experience Jeter's emotional walk-off home run in his final game at Yankee Stadium in 2014. Along the way, players can unlock new player items and equipment to enhance their gameplay experience.
The May update introduces the futuristic Future City Props Kit to MLB The Show 24's Stadium Creator. This kit includes a variety of over 75 props, ranging from designer diners to high-tech towers. Players can get creative with their stadium designs by incorporating these new props, which can be found by searching for the "Future City" tag in the Stadium Creator.
May also brings new opportunities for MLB The Show 24 players to strengthen their Diamond Dynasty squad. The update adds 30 Diamond 99-rated player cards, including stars like Blake Treinen, Edgar Martinez, and Ian Kinsler. Players can obtain these cards by earning Team Affinity Points through Chapter 3's six Team Affinity Divisional Programs. Points can be earned through various gameplay modes, such as Single Player, Multiplayer, Boss battles, Repeatable PXP Stat Missions, Moments, Extreme Moments, March to October, and Player Exchanges.
With the exciting new content in Season 1 of MLB The Show 24, players can look forward to an enhanced gaming experience filled with iconic moments, futuristic stadium designs, and top-tier players to add to their Diamond Dynasty lineups.
