Exciting news for Helldivers fans! PlayStation recently announced the upcoming release of the new warbond, Cutting Edge, set to launch on March 14th. In a blog post, players got a first look at the stunning electrical-themed armor, weaponry, and emotes that will be included in the Warbond.
The highlight of the armor is the "EX Series Prototypes," bringing a new level of customization to the game. Additionally, players can look forward to trying out the LAS-16 Sickle, SG-8P Punisher Plasma, and ARC-12 Blitzer weapons. Not to mention, there will be a new stun grenade, the G-23 Stun, and the LAS-7 Dagger pistol available for unlocking.
To top it all off, Cutting Edge will introduce three new capes with matching player cards, adding a touch of flair to the gameplay. Excited players were treated to cinematic and in-game previews of the content in a new PlayStation trailer.
The anticipation for Helldivers 2 continues to build as the game gains popularity. Recently, the server capacity was expanded to 700,000 to accommodate the growing player base. While the game has encountered some bugs, players have been quick to praise its cinematic action sequences and seamless multiplayer experience.
There have been mixed reactions to the latest balance patch, with some players expressing concerns. However, the developers addressed these issues in an official explanation of the balancing changes. In a show of commitment to the game's ongoing development, Arrowhead Studios confirmed that mechs will soon be making their debut in Helldivers 2.
