Fallout London Mod Delayed Indefinitely Due to Fallout 4 Next-Gen Update

Fallout London, one of the most eagerly awaited mods in Fallout franchise history, has recently faced an indefinite delay. The mod, which was set to be released next week, has been pushed back due to the upcoming Fallout 4 next-gen update.

A video posted by 'Team FOLON' shed light on the reason behind the delay. The team explained that the impending next-gen update could potentially disrupt the work they have put into the mod over the past four years. Many mods, including the 'F4SE' mod, which is crucial for running numerous mods, are expected to be impacted by Bethesda Game Studios' overhaul of Fallout 4.

It is worth noting that Bethesda Game Studios have not directly communicated with the Fallout London team, despite some former team members having connections within the studio. With the next-gen update set to be released on April 25, the team should have foreseen the inevitable complications.

Another hurdle faced by the Fallout London team is the inability of Nexus Mods to host the mod due to its large file size. This setback has prompted the team to shift the hosting of the mod to GOG. The exact duration of the delay is uncertain, but fans will have to wait a little longer to explore the world of Fallout London.
