The long-awaited current generation upgrade is finally set to be released this month, on April 25. This update, which will be available for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 consoles, brings a host of improvements and enhancements to the game.

According to Bethesda's blog post, players can expect to experience up to 60 frames per second and increased resolution with the new update. The update will also include performance and quality mode settings, stability improvements, and fixes to enhance the overall gaming experience.

Players on PS4 and Xbox One will also receive a free update with stability improvements, login and quest fixes. PC players, on the other hand, will get widescreen and ultra-widescreen support, as well as fixes to the Creation Kit. Additionally, the game will be Steam Deck verified, ensuring smooth gameplay on PC.

Not only will Fallout 4's next-gen update be available on Xbox Series X/S and PS5, but it will also be released on the Epic Games Store. This wider availability gives more gamers the opportunity to enjoy the enhanced version of the game on their preferred platform.

Adding to the excitement, Amazon's live-action series based on the Fallout franchise recently premiered. With filming for the second season set to move to California, fans can look forward to even more action-packed episodes in the future. The show's first season, starring Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, and Aaron Moten, received positive reviews and is sure to attract even more viewers with its expansion to the West Coast.
