If you're a game developer looking to maximize your revenue potential, Epic Games has an exciting announcement that could change the game for you. The company recently revealed its 'Now on Epic' program, which offers developers an unprecedented opportunity to earn 100% of the revenue generated for the first six months if their game is exclusively signed to the Epic Games Store.

This move by Epic Games comes as a significant boost for developers, as the typical revenue split in the industry sees developers receiving only a portion of the profits. With this new program, developers can potentially see a huge increase in revenues, especially considering that the majority of game sales typically occur within the initial months of a game's release.

According to the Epic Games blog, after the initial six months of 100% revenue to developers, the revenue split will revert to the standard 88/12 split, with 88% going to developers and 12% to Epic Games. This program offers developers a unique opportunity to capitalize on their game's early success and maximize their earnings potential.

To participate in the 'Now on Epic' program, developers are required to release a minimum of three products that have been launched before October 31, 2023, and are currently live on another third-party PC storefront or included in a third-party subscription service. The deadline for enrolling in the program is December 31, 2024, and all eligible products must be released on the Epic Games Store by June 30, 2025.

Developers and publishers with registered Epic Games developer accounts and products that were launched on another storefront before October 31, 2023, are eligible to apply for the program. Early Access products are also eligible, making it an inclusive opportunity for a wide range of developers.

Creating an account and enrolling in the program is a straightforward process. Simply visit the Developer Portal website, follow the instructions to sign in, and register your organization and products. For more detailed guidance, refer to the Developer Portal account creation guide.

For any questions or clarifications regarding the program, developers can reach out to the Epic Games Store Developer Community for assistance. The program aims to simplify the process of bringing products to the Epic Games Store, providing developers with self-service publishing tools to streamline onboarding and release procedures.
