The release of the Shadow of the Erdtree's trailer has stirred up the fans, which has led to a significant surge - between 100-115% - in the counts of active players across Steam, PlayStation and Xbox platforms. The stunning environments and challenging gameplay keep attracting players, thereby couping the popularity of Elden Ring's upcoming DLC.

The trailer for Shadow of the Erdtree's DLC has resulted in a massive boost in concurrent users across all platforms. The reaction has been positive since its reveal, and the anticipation continues to rise among the players. The action role-playing video game, which was released on February 2022, was written by George R. R. Martin, the author of the epic high fantas series A Song of Ice and Fire. The announcement of the DLC Shadow of the Erdtree brought many players back into the game.

According to PlayTracker's data, the concurrent player counts for Elden Ring increased by 100% on Steam, 110% on PlayStation and 115% on Xbox when compared to the week prior to the reveal of the trailer. The Shadow of the Erdtree's DLC trailer, which was released on February 21, has already garnered over a million views on YouTube, with fans sharing their enthusiasm both in the comments and across social media.


Elden Ring, the 2022 Game of the Year award winner, is waiting for the addition of new DLC to the iconic title.
