Elden Ring fans, brace yourselves! A recent discovery in the game's PC files has sparked widespread excitement about a potential new DLC. The sharp-eyed Twitter user @Ziostorm1, known for their active contributions to the Elden Ring community, spotted this intriguing update.

This development aligns with the buzz around the "Shadow of the Erdtree" DLC, officially announced last year. The DLC package, first of its kind since Elden Ring's launch, was highlighted in a recent tweet by @Ziostorm1, raising speculations about its connection to "Shadow of the Erdtree."

While the file size remains unknown, and official announcements from the developers are still pending, the anticipation is palpable. Given the game's massive success, a delay in marketing such a highly awaited DLC seems unlikely. A surprise release, or "shadow drop," could be on the cards.

Interestingly, @Ziostorm1 also uncovered a leaked collaboration between Elden Ring and Thrustmaster in December 2023, featuring Elden Ring-themed controllers. This leak hinted at a possible February 25th release date for the new DLC, coinciding with Elden Ring's original launch anniversary.

Moreover, renowned collectible company PureArts teased their first Elden Ring product for February 2024, adding to the speculation about a major anniversary DLC release. While these remain rumors, the evidence is compelling.

Elden Ring, since its debut, has been a monumental success, representing a high point in the studio's creative journey. Celebrating its first anniversary with a new DLC would be a fitting tribute to this gaming masterpiece.
