Capcom has announced a major milestone for Dragon's Dogma 2, revealing that the highly anticipated game has sold an impressive 2.5 million units since its launch on March 21, 2024.

This achievement not only marks the success of Dragon's Dogma 2 but also brings the total sales for the series to a staggering 10 million units worldwide. In a press release, Capcom expressed their excitement over the milestone, stating,

The Dragon's Dogma series is renowned for its action-packed gameplay set in a fantasy world filled with swords and magic. Since the debut of the original game in 2012, the series has earned acclaim for its unique features, such as the "pawn" adventure companions who add depth to the gameplay. This success has propelled the series to exceed 10 million units sold cumulatively.

Dragon's Dogma 2, which arrived twelve years after its predecessor, offers players a sprawling open world with unparalleled freedom. Players can immerse themselves in a rich fantasy setting and embark on adventures either solo or with up to four companions, including AI-controlled pawn characters. To attract both loyal fans and newcomers, Capcom engaged in global promotional activities, from pre-game avatar creation apps to collaborations with celebrities and athletes.
