8 Games Deep and June's Game Pass Lineup Isn't Done
June's Xbox Game Pass lineup has quietly grown to at least eight confirmed titles, and Microsoft hasn't even made its official Wave 1 announcement yet.
May isn't even over yet, and 35 games have already landed on Xbox Game Pass this month. Forza Horizon 6, Doom: The Dark Ages, Subnautica 2, Remnant II, Metaphor: ReFantazio. It's been one of the heaviest months the service has had in a while. So you'd expect June to ease off the throttle. Instead, the lineup is already stacking up before Microsoft has even published its first official wave announcement.
As of this week, eight titles are confirmed for Game Pass in June 2026, with two more quietly slotted in over the past few days. The latest additions are RV There Yet?, a co-op road trip game targeting an early June launch on Xbox, and Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions from Devolver Digital and developer System Era Softworks, which enters Early Access on June 11. Both were confirmed through developer updates rather than any big Microsoft reveal, meaning they slipped into the schedule without much fanfare.
Starseeker is the more interesting of the two. It's a co-op space exploration game built by the team behind Astroneer, and it has cross-play confirmed at launch. Players join the crew of the ESS Starseeker to explore procedurally generated planets, complete objectives together, and unlock new tech before the station moves on. The climbing and glider mechanics shown in its latest trailer give it a Grow Home vibe, which is a comparison I didn't expect but I'm completely on board with. The game was originally planned as a full release in 2026, but System Era has shifted to an Early Access model with post-launch updates rolling out throughout the year and beyond.
RV There Yet? has had a bumpier road. The game was delayed out of its original window, and its developer recently confirmed it's now aiming for early June on Xbox. It's a co-op adventure where you and your friends drive a recreational vehicle through back-country routes, trying to find your way back to Route 65. Simple premise, but co-op games with a goofy hook tend to find an audience on Game Pass.
What Else Is Coming in June
Beyond those two, the confirmed June lineup already includes Beastro, Denshattack, Abyssus, Vapor World: Over The Mind, Frog Sqwad, Final Fantasy VI, and Jurassic World Evolution 3. That's a spread that covers everything from a classic SNES-era RPG to a dinosaur park management sequel, and none of it has come through an official Microsoft wave announcement yet. These have all trickled out through developer confirmations, store page updates, and publisher reveals.
Final Fantasy VI joining the service is a quiet highlight. It's one of the most celebrated RPGs ever made, and while it's been available on practically every platform at this point, having it on Game Pass removes one more excuse for people who've never played it. Jurassic World Evolution 3 as a day-one addition is the bigger commercial play, though, and will likely headline whatever official announcement Microsoft puts together.
I think the volume here says something about where Game Pass is right now. May had 35 titles. June already has eight locked in before the month starts, with Microsoft's official reveal still to come. The service has clearly moved past the era where a single blockbuster carried the month. Instead, it's layering in mid-tier and indie titles alongside the tentpole releases, which honestly makes the overall library more interesting even if no single addition dominates the conversation.
The one caveat with Starseeker is the Early Access question. System Era hasn't confirmed whether the game will have achievements at launch, and the shift away from a full release means players are signing up for an incomplete product. Early Access on Game Pass is fine when expectations are set correctly, and Subnautica 2 just did the same thing this month. But if Starseeker launches thin on content, the Astroneer name alone won't carry it for long.
Microsoft's official June Wave 1 announcement should land in the next week or so, and based on how May went, I'd expect at least a few more additions on top of what's already confirmed. Eight games before the month even starts is an unusual pace, and it suggests June could rival May's volume if the official waves add another handful of titles.
