Halo's Warthog Returns in Forza Horizon 6's 550-Car Roster
Tucked between Alfa Romeos and Ariels in Forza Horizon 6's massive car list sits a 26th-century military vehicle from the Halo universe. The full roster tops 550 vehicles.
Somewhere between the 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2 and the 2013 Ariel Atom 500 V8, Forza Horizon 6's car list takes a hard left into science fiction. The 2554 AMG Transport Dynamics M12S Warthog CST, better known as the Warthog from Halo, is back in the series, slotted into A-class alongside real-world sports cars and muscle machines. It's the kind of absurd detail that makes Forza Horizon what it is.
The full roster, partially revealed on the game's official site and compiled by players tracking the beta, runs over 550 vehicles deep. That's more than Forza Horizon 5 shipped with. The list spans decades of automotive history and leans heavily into Japanese manufacturers to match the game's Japan setting, with cars like the 1993 Autozam AZ-1 and the 1970 Datsun 510 sitting alongside modern flagships like the 2025 Ferrari F80 and the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing.
I love that Playground Games keeps finding room for the Warthog. It's a tradition at this point, and it would feel wrong without it. Dropping a fictional military transport into a roster full of meticulously modelled Ferraris and BMWs is exactly the kind of confidence a series earns after five entries. The car is listed under manufacturer "AMG TD" with a model year of 2554, which is a nice touch.
Most of the 550-plus vehicles are available through the in-game garage or Barn Finds, though a number are locked behind car packs, passes, and pre-order bonuses at launch. LEGO has also announced two Technic sets, a Ferrari 488 Pista and a Dodge Viper GTS-R, priced at $64.99 each and releasing August 1, 2026. Both come with redeemable codes for in-game LEGO Technic liveries.
Forza Horizon 6 is set in Japan and features a soundtrack heavy on Japanese artists including BABYMETAL, ONE OK ROCK, and BAND-MAID, with a leaked tracklist suggesting even more additions like Ado and Creepy Nuts on the unannounced Gacha City Radio station. Between the car count, the setting, and the Warthog making its return, Playground Games clearly isn't playing it safe with this one.
