Popular pirate adventure game, Sea of Thieves has exciting updates lined up for its gamers. The creators, Rare, recently revealed that they will be incorporating the Easy Anti-Cheat system in the game providing a breather for players who are facing challenges with cheaters.

In the next update lined up for March, the video game developer plans to install the kernel-level anti-cheating system, designed by Epic Games, bolstering their battle against in-game cheating. This addition will also be compatible with Proton, thereby ensuring a seamless gaming experience for Steam Deck users.

However, that's not the only security advancement. The company also announced they are exploring other methods to protect their players from cheats, with more details to follow soon.

Besides the step-up in security, the upcoming March update is predicted to be full-packed and sizeable - bringing a series of patches for enhanced general stability and fixes for the game. It's also promised to restore keyboard and mode support to gamers on Xbox.

In an interesting revelation, Rare has decided to remove the requirement of the Game Pass for solo Xbox players aiming to savour the game, though credentials for multiplayer will still persist. This change is expected to offer gamers more flexibility.

Expected updates also include new items and goodies that are on their way to the game’s Pirate Emporium, the details of which will be shared in the Sea of Thieves 2024 Preview Event on March 20th. This event will shine a light on features, content, and further plans Rare has for Seasons 12, 13, and 14 of Sea of Thieves.

Currently in Season 11, the game is extending its availability to various platforms such as PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Game Pass and is also scheduled for a release on PS5 on April 30th. Fans will soon be intimated about more details for pre-orders. Gear up for more swashbuckling pirate adventures!
