Exciting news for gamers as a demo for the PlayStation-published action game Stellar Blade made a surprise appearance on the PlayStation Store, albeit briefly. The demo, developed by Shift Up and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, appeared without any prior announcement and was only live for around 30 minutes before being taken down.

Despite its short-lived availability, one enthusiastic user managed to capture and upload a full 40-minute playthrough of the demo, giving a sneak peek into what players can expect from the game.

Stellar Blade is a third-person action adventure game set in the not-too-distant future, where Earth has been overtaken by an invading force known as the NA:tives. Players take on the role of Eve, the sole survivor of a paratrooper squad deployed from the Colony, in a mission to reclaim Earth from the invaders.

Director Kim Hyung Tae promises a visually stunning experience, with graphics that make full use of the power of the PlayStation 5, creating a post-apocalyptic world that is both unique and captivating. In a post on the PlayStation Blog, he shared, "Combat in Eve is deliberate – including attack, defense, and evasion – while remaining fluid and zestful. The only way to survive is to grasp the attack patterns of various enemies and counter with precise timing."

Furthermore, the game promises an immersive gameplay experience through the integration of the DualSense wireless controller's haptic feedback, enhancing the sensation of combat and skill execution. From the feeling of the blade cutting through enemies to the satisfaction of executing complex combo moves, players can expect a deeply engaging gameplay experience.

Stellar Blade is set to be released on April 26, offering players a unique and thrilling gaming experience. Stay tuned for more updates and be sure to mark your calendars for the official release date.
