Exciting news for gamers in Europe as Sony is reportedly set to discount the PlayStation 5 Slim once again this month! Following the successful temporary price cut last month, which offered the console at a discount of €75/£70 in several countries, gamers can now look forward to another round of savings.

According to reliable dataminer billbil-kun, the promotion is expected to kick off around March 18 in France. This means that gamers across Europe will have the chance to grab the PlayStation 5 Slim at a great price once more.

In Germany, retailers like GameStop are reportedly gearing up to slash the console's price from €549.99 to €479.99. Not only that, but they will also be throwing in a free copy of the highly anticipated game, Alone in the Dark, upon its release on March 20. This is definitely an offer that gamers won't want to miss!

While Sony may have fallen slightly short of its initial goal to ship 25 million PlayStation consoles this fiscal year, the company is still going strong. In fact, rumors are swirling that Sony is already planning to release a PS5 Pro console in late 2024, featuring its own DLSS-like solution.

On top of all this exciting news, the latest PS5 system update was rolled out recently, introducing new features such as console light dimming and DualShock controller improvements. Sony is certainly not slowing down when it comes to enhancing the gaming experience for its users.
