In a recent announcement on their blog, PlayStation has revealed exciting new additions coming to Marvel's Spider-Man 2 with its March 7th update. Initially teased earlier this month, the update promises to enrich the game with "New Game+, new suits, and more," now revealing that it will include unique suit styles for several of Peter Parker's symbiote story outfits. Additionally, both Peter and Miles Morales will receive new Hellfire Gala suits, adding a touch of elegance to their heroic wardrobes.

In a remarkable collaboration, PlayStation, alongside Gameheads, Insomniac Games, and Marvel Games, is set to introduce two exclusive new suits. Gameheads, known for its commitment to providing educational opportunities to low-income and underrepresented students, will benefit from this partnership. From March 7th through April 5th, PlayStation commits to donating up to $1 million from the sales of the Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack to support Gameheads. This Suit Pack not only brings the new Gameheads-designed outfits but also includes 10 photo mode stickers and 2 unique photo mode frames, enhancing the creative possibilities within the game.

The update doesn't stop at new suits; it also introduces an "action figure mode and stickers" to the already popular Photo Mode, paying homage to the collectible action figures that are a staple in comic book fandom. This addition is sure to delight long-time fans and collectors alike.

To further enhance the gaming experience for all players, the March update will incorporate Audio Descriptions and a Screen Reader feature, significantly improving accessibility within the game.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 continues to captivate audiences worldwide, having recently surpassed 10 million copies sold. The introduction of New Game Plus is anticipated to reinvigorate interest in the game, encouraging fans to dive back into the action. Released in October 2023, the game has had ample time to establish itself as a fan favorite, and with rumors of a Beetle-themed DLC on the horizon, following a significant leak from Insomniac, the excitement around the game shows no signs of waning.
