April's PlayStation Plus Essential Games Have Been Announced

Sony has recently revealed the first wave of PlayStation Plus games for the month of April, bringing some exciting titles to players.

The lineup for April's PlayStation Plus Essential games includes Immortals of Aveum for PS5, Minecraft Legends for both PS4 and PS5, and Skul: The Hero Slayer for PS4. Players who are PlayStation Plus members can download and add these games to their library until May 6.

Additionally, Sony is offering the Overwatch 2 Mega Bundle for free for PlayStation Plus members for a limited time. This bundle includes:

  • Beekeeper Sigma Legendary Skin
  • Art Deco Symmetra Legendary Skin
  • Runner Sojourn Epic Skin
  • Punker Queen Junker Queen Epic Skin
  • Construction Ramattra Epic Skin
  • Matsuri Kiriko Epic Skin
  • Cassia Lifeweaver Epic Skin
  • Amethyst Illari Epic Skin
  • Rugby Mauga Epic Skin
  • 5x Battle Pass Tier Skips

For those unfamiliar, PlayStation Plus offers different membership tiers - Essential, Extra, and Premium. Essential members receive a selection of free games each month, while Extra and Premium members gain access to the Game Catalogue, which features up to 400 downloadable games for both PS4 and PS5. Premium members can also enjoy additional perks such as game trials, cloud streaming, and access to the Classics Catalogue with retro titles from the original PlayStation, PS2, PS3, and PSP.

Exciting news also emerged today as Dave the Diver and Tales of Kenzera: Zau are set to join the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue soon, providing even more gaming options for subscribers.
