A digital Jim Ryan bobblehead has been released to commemorate his illustrious career at PlayStation. This collectible item, available through Sony's digital platform PlayStation Stars, can be acquired by playing a game that Ryan passionately supported during his tenure at the company.

The description for the item reads, "Help us celebrate Jim Ryan's 30 years at PlayStation by playing any one of the many impressive games he championed as CEO and get a special Digital Collectible. Happy retirement, Jim!"

The eligible games for obtaining this special digital collectible include Gran Turismo 7, Marvel's Spider-man 2, God of War Ragnarok, The Last of Us Part 2, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Destiny 2.

Sony announced in September that Ryan would be retiring in March 2024 after almost three decades with the PlayStation business. In his retirement statement, Ryan mentioned the challenges he faced balancing his personal life in Europe and professional obligations in North America.

Ryan, who has been at the helm of the PlayStation business since 2019 and oversaw the launch of the PS5, expressed gratitude for his time at Sony. Reflecting on his career, he stated, "I want to thank Yoshida-san for placing so much trust in me and being an incredibly sensitive and supportive leader."

Known for his sometimes controversial statements, Ryan has been a prominent figure at Sony's PlayStation division for nearly 20 years. His legacy includes previous roles as the head of SIE's European business and its global marketing chief.

If you are a true PlayStation fan and want to pay homage to Jim Ryan's contributions to the gaming industry, don't miss the opportunity to obtain this unique digital collectible by playing one of the games he championed during his tenure as CEO.
