Modder 'Tuanchik' has recently released a new mod that introduces an Ultra Nightmare Difficulty Setting to the game.
This mod is perfect for players who have already completed the game and are seeking a more intense experience. It enhances the AI of all enemies in the game, including humans, androids, and the Alien, by giving them increased hearing and vision ranges. Additionally, there are now 2-5 Aliens roaming around instead of just one, adding to the suspense and thrill of the game.
But that's not all - the mod also tweaks the damage system, making combat more challenging and realistic. Weapons have increased damage and accuracy, and the damage type has been changed to "Collision" from "Impact". This means that hits have to actually collide with the target to cause damage, adding a new layer of strategy to combat.
One of the most notable changes is the Alien's thermo vision, allowing it to detect heat sources and making it even more formidable. The addition of a 5-digit code to the Hack Tool adds another puzzle element to the game, challenging players to crack codes quickly under pressure.
