Warframe Voruna Prime: Hotfix 42.0.7 Patch Notes (9th April 2026)

Voruna Prime: Hotfix 42.0.7 went live on April 9th, and the headliner is a fix Voruna mains have been waiting on. Ulfrun's Descent was not picking up the critical damage or critical chance bonuses granted by Shroud of Dynar, which is a significant oversight given how central that synergy is to her kit.

Beyond that, Digital Extremes made some audio housekeeping passes. The Galariak Prime's sound effects have been toned down, and Follie's Hunt missions got an SFX balance adjustment for Tendril enemies when multiple are attacking simultaneously. If you've been running those missions and wondering why the audio was a wall of noise, that should be noticeably cleaner now. The Okuri Tails Prime Ephemera also received visual tweaks to its energy color blending and added VFX movement to bring it closer to the non-Prime version.

Small hotfix, but credit where it's due: fixing a crit bonus that wasn't applying is exactly the kind of thing that quietly tanks a build without players always knowing why. The full patch notes are available on the official Warframe forums.
