War Thunder 2.57.1.12 Patch Notes (9th July 2026)
A fresh patch lands with fixes for weapon descriptions, ammunition handling, and customisation display problems.

Update 2.57.1.12 addresses several long-standing friction points across aircraft, vehicles, and the interface.
The standout fix here is restoring weapon damage calculations to air-to-ground missile and bomb descriptions. Pilots were flying blind without knowing how much punch their ordnance actually packed, so seeing those numbers back in the hangar is overdue. Ground vehicle crews get relief too: ammunition now loads correctly into the first stage rack at capture points, fixing a frustrating bug that left players scrambling to reload mid-battle.
Interface improvements include restoring the Secondary weapons menu button to the aircraft information window in crew slots, and decals and decorations now display properly on Multi-Vehicle SAM TADs during battles and test drives. Tank Football players also gain the ability to check leaderboard rankings from previous game days, adding a bit of historical context to their competitive records.
These are solid quality-of-life corrections rather than headline features, but they smooth out some genuine annoyances. The full list, including every interface and customisation fix, is below.

Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.
