Throne And Liberty 4.2.0 Patch Notes (9th July 2026)
Update 4.2.0 adds guaranteed rewards to Character Boost progression and restores Archboss Weapon crafting with safeguards against repeated exploitation.
Update 4.2.0 for Throne And Liberty goes live on July 8 following maintenance that begins at 10:30 p.m. PT and runs for roughly three hours. The patch addresses a crafting loophole that let players repeatedly generate Archboss Weapons using Skill Cores, something the team quietly disabled last month.
Character Boost now grants base rewards upon activation, removing the old friction of levelling without guaranteed returns. You'll pocket DaVinci's Favor, skill growth materials, Sollant, and fishing rods just for using a boost ticket. Anyone who already spent a ticket before the maintenance gets those rewards posted to their inbox automatically.
The Archboss Weapon crafting recipe returns on July 15, but with a crucial change: newly crafted weapons won't gain Potential Skills anymore. Existing weapons that benefited from the exploit will have those skills stripped, though you'll get your materials and Sollant back, including tax. It's a clean reset. The patch also stocks the shop with the Crystal Court Bundle and ten Platinum-adorned Frost Weapon Skins for cosmetic collectors.

- The Crystal Court Bundle and 10 Platinum-adorned Frost Weapon Skins are now available for purchase.
Archboss Crafted Weapons — Advance Notice
- An issue was identified where Archboss Weapons could be repeatedly crafted using Skill Cores. The affected crafting recipe was temporarily removed in the June 30 update.
Crafting Recipe
- The Archboss Weapon crafting recipe will be re-added to the game.
- Archboss Weapons obtained through crafting will no longer be granted Potential Skills.
- This change will be applied in the July 15 update.
Crafted Items
- Potential Skills applied to Archboss Weapons obtained through the affected recipe will be removed, and the Inheritance/Seal restriction will be lifted.
- Materials and Sollant used in crafting will be refunded, including tax.
- Potential Skill removal and currency refunds will be processed during the July 15 scheduled maintenance.
