The First Descendant Server Maintenance Notice (14th April 2026)
The First Descendant is heading offline for a 10-hour maintenance window to deploy Update 1.3.25, and is a new Onslaught Mode in beta.
Onslaught Mode is the headline here. Update 1.3.25 for The First Descendant arrives during a 10-hour maintenance window starting April 15 at 22:00 PDT (that's April 16 at 07:00 CEST, 15:00 AEST), and Nexon is using the downtime to drop a beta version of what sounds like a wave-based or endurance mode alongside Descendant rebalancing and general content improvements.
The Descendant rebalancing is the part I'll be watching most closely. Rebalance patches in The First Descendant have historically been a mixed bag, and with a playerbase that invests serious time into building specific Descendants, the details matter. A blanket nerf to a fan favourite without compensating buffs elsewhere tends to go down badly, and Nexon hasn't released the full breakdown yet, promising further details in a separate 1.3.25 announcement.
The game will be completely unavailable during the maintenance window, and some features in the companion app may also be temporarily offline. Everything in the update is listed below.
