The First Descendant Patch 1.3.30 Notes (4th June 2026)
Patch 1.3.30 brings a new resource exchange system, meaningful Valby buffs, and a weekend discount event for Ancestors Module Readjustment.

Valby players have had a rough few patches, so the buffs in Patch 1.3.30 should land well. Her "Tidal Wave" damage when passing through enemies doubles from 332% to 664%, "Hydro Pressure Bomb" jumps from 5,554% to 7,220.2%, and "Bubble Bullet" gains an extra bounce. The movement speed bonus on "Clean Up" also goes from 19% to 30%. These aren't minor number shuffles; Valby's kit feels noticeably more aggressive across the board.
The bigger structural addition is the Info Grid Extract and Info Grid Exchange shops, now live at Magister Anais in Albion for players who've hit Mastery Rank 10. The idea is straightforward: extract materials that have become dead weight in your inventory and convert them into tokens you can spend on actually useful resources, including Gold, Kuiper Shards, and Augmentation Cores. It's a sensible solution to the hoarding problem that plagues long-term players, and I'm glad they've finally addressed it.
On the events side, Ancestors Module Readjustment costs drop 50% over weekends through June 10, and a separate dismantling event runs until June 17 with its own Fragment Exchange shop. Keep an eye on the Valby changes if you've been sleeping on her recently.

- Some performance adjustments have been made to Valby.

- Probability-Based Rewards
- Improved the Void Abyss Intercept Battle: Challenge "Defiler" so that the aerial platform structures generated during combat vary in appearance over time after being created.
- Improved the information message related to Accelerate Research content progress to be displayed at the center of the screen.
- Some items sold in the ETA-0 Shop have been changed.
- Added new products.
- Added the "Ancestors Module Enhancement Week" Event.
- During weekends within the Event Period, the amount of "Gold," "Kuiper Shards," and "Superconductive Cooling Units" required for Ancestors Module Readjustment will decrease by 50%.

- Added the "Today's Readjustment Benefit" Event.
- Fixed an issue where Ines' "Snare Hunter" skill was not being fired in the aimed direction correctly.
- Fixed an issue where the number of hits was being displayed on the "Passive" icon when Valby's Transcendent Module "Supply Moisture" was equipped.
- Fixed an issue where the "Laundry Explosion" skill description was displayed in duplicate when Equipping Valby's Transcendent Module "Supply Moisture" was equipped.
- Fixed an issue where the ending motion of Valby's "Clean Up" skill was not playing correctly.
(2) Equipment & Modules
- Fixed an issue where unintended items were set in the "Mutant Cell" recommendation list within "Arche Tuning" for some Descendants.
- Fixed the display form of the Rounds per Magazine, Reload Time, and Reload Time Modifier for the Ultimate Weapon "Frenzied Locomotive."
- Fixed an issue where the effect that decreases the consumption amount of the Special Attack Gauge on use was displayed in red when enhancing the Unique Ability of the Ultimate Weapon "Shadow."
- Fixed an issue where the Socket Type of a Module and the Socket Type during Module Combine did not match.

(3) Content
- Fixed an issue where the Arche Parameter guide video for "Onslaught Mode" did not match the actual content.
- Fixed an issue where the Arche Parameter selection screen in "Onslaught Mode" would close unexpectedly when a Squad member left.
- Removed some Arche Parameters from "Onslaught Mode" which will be improved and re-added in the future.

# Designer’s Comment
The Arche Parameter 'Enhanced Resurrection' was designed to offer a variety of strategic options; however, it currently holds a disproportionately high level of influence compared to other options, making it effectively a near-mandatory choice.
In order to ensure that a wider range of Arche Parameters can serve as meaningful options, we are planning to rebalance and readjust its usability, with a target of the mid-June update.
Until the improvements are in place, this parameter will be temporarily removed from the selection.
- Fixed an issue where presets could sometimes not be changed after entering the "Bounty Operation," but before the Mission started.
- Fixed an issue where the 2 "Crystallization Catalyst" rewards for the first Normal Difficulty Clear of "Unknown Laboratory" and "The Forgottense" were split into 1 each and displayed twice.
- Fixed an issue where background music would not play during the "Vespers Special Operation" on Normal Difficulty.
- Fixed an issue where the Ultimate Weapon "Frenzied Locomotive" video in the Battle Pass would not play.
(4) Monsters
- Fixed an issue in the Void Abyss Intercept Battle where rewards would drop outside the terrain after defeating a Colossus; rewards will now respawn on nearby terrain.
- Fixed an issue where the toxic smoke effect from the "Defiler" skill in the Void Abyss Intercept Battle was not visible.
(5) UI & UX
- Fixed an issue where Skill tooltips for some Descendants were not displayed correctly.
- Fixed an issue where the description for Albion's Tactical Transport Control did not display information about being able to enter Onslaught Mode.
- Fixed an issue where the "Axium Mining" icon in Axion Plains would intermittently display incorrectly.
- Fixed an issue where 2 Weapons were missing from the keyword tag list in the Research Institute.
