The First Descendant Update 1.3.31 Patch Notes (18th June 2026)
New endgame dungeon, Ultimate Weapon, and Colossus arrive alongside significant Descendant rebalancing.

Update 1.3.31 lands today with a full endgame refresh: new Infiltration Operation dungeon, a fresh Ultimate Weapon, and a completely redesigned Colossus fight that actually changes how you approach the battle.
Bastion of Immortality is a Hard difficulty dungeon locked behind the Exposed Underwater Base, featuring The Administrator boss and a mechanic built around destroying turret towers to expose weak points. It's the kind of structural complexity that separates one-run slogs from fights worth learning. Bunny and Valby both get meaningful overhauls here: Bunny's Lightning Emission damage nearly triples (197.8% to 652.7%), and her new Flash Kick skill burns through stored Electricity for massive single-target damage. Valby's Supply Moisture Transcendent Module gets a cooldown drop from 60 seconds to 5 seconds, making it actually viable for sustained play instead of a once-per-fight ability.
The Tormentor Colossus replaces the old Void Intercept fight with an electric-based enemy that summons polarized Lightning Rods, you'll need to match your polarity to destroy them before the Tormentor becomes manageable. Check the full notes for all module additions and reward breakdowns.

ㆍ While in Void Reflux mode, the Tormentor summons polarized Lightning Rods.
ㆍ The Lightning Rods serve to gradually condense the Tormentor's power, which can be checked through specific parts of the Tormentor.
ㆍ When the Lightning Rods are present, the Tormentor becomes difficult to defeat.
ㆍ When the Tormentor has condensed its power to the maximum, it unleashes powerful attacks and some of its attacks are enhanced.
ㆍ Each Lightning Rod has a polarity, and the Descendants must check their assigned polarity to attack the rods.
ㆍ When all Lightning Rods are destroyed, the Tormentor becomes easier to defeat, and the Descendants are granted a buff that helps with the battle.

(1) Onslaught Mode - Arche Parameters
| # Designer’s Comment
As noted in the previous 1.3.30 Patch Notes, 'Enhanced Resurrection' held a disproportionately high level of influence compared to other Arche Parameters, making it effectively a near-mandatory choice. To ensure that a wider range of options could serve as meaningful choices, we temporarily removed the parameter and began reviewing directions for improvement. Based on play data and internal testing, we concluded that 'Enhanced Resurrection' possesses structural characteristics that allow it to maintain a significantly higher level of influence over other Arche Parameters, even with numerical adjustments. As such, we determined that rather than simple value tuning, it would be more appropriate to redistribute the role this parameter served into other forms of options. In this update, instead of simply removing 'Enhanced Resurrection,' we have introduced 3 new Arche Parameters designed to fill the high-risk, high-reward role it previously occupied, while also rebalancing the existing Arche Parameters. The newly added parameters are designed to give players a greater advantage in combat depending on how they choose to utilize them. Going forward, rather than having a single parameter serve as the definitive answer, we will continue to add and improve Arche Parameters so that players can make diverse choices based on their playstyle and situation. |

- Movement distance will now be naturally adjusted based on the target's location when using Normal Attacks with all melee weapons or Special Attacks of Deus Ex Manus or Crime and Punishment.
- Melee weapons no longer consume ammo.
- 11 types of modules that do not trigger effects due to melee weapons no longer consuming ammo have been rendered unusable.

- Improved the Unique Abilities of five Ultimate Weapons.
- The amount of Analyze acquired has increased, while the Max Stack Count has decreased.

- There is now a limit on the number of Degrading Enzymes that can be spawned, and their damage has increased.
- The number of targets hit by Ricochet has increased.

- Inflicts Chill Resistance Reduction on enemies that received Additional Damage through Mark or Ricochet damage.

- Adjusted the stats for three melee weapons. The changes displayed are based on Level 100.
- Lowered the difficulty of the Bounty Operation "Plaudia the Gnawing Calamity" mission.
- Lowered the difficulty of the Bounty Operation "Resurrected Immortality Obliviant" mission for 2-player matchmaking.
- The Elite monster HP in the Bounty Operations Mission 'Seudo Engulfed by Madness' has been reduced when matched with 2 players.
- The color of the top UI bar now changes according to your progress in Onslaught Mode, making it easier to check your progress.
- Increased the Bombardment range and damage of the Emergency Suppression Device in Onslaught Mode.
- Reduced the death penalty in Void Erosion Purge in Normal/Challenge difficulties.

- When obtaining Dimensional Stones from Breach Tracking and Sync Loot Reward from Bounty Operations, the Reward UI displayed at the bottom center of the screen will now show the contents of the reward chests.
- A fix has been implemented to prevent players from defeating the final boss of the Prologue too easily due to certain skill effects being overly efficient during the final battle.
- The "Colossus Guided Capture Facility Investigation" quest has been updated so that investigation targets can be investigated at each identical structure, rather than just one of the identical structures.
- The Void Intercept Battle mission list on the Descendant Mission Board has been updated.

- Updated the content of the Common Collectibles Box.
- Updated the content of the Premium Collectibles Box.
- Added a Transaction Protection Mode system.
- Added a Special Orders Status feature that allows you to check the Special Order schedule within the game.
- To help you quickly notice when a new Special Order schedule begins, a visual effect will now be shown on NPC Eckert's icon.
ㄴ The effect will disappear when the Special Order UI is opened.
- You can now immediately see whether a quest has been accepted via the Accept/Cancel buttons in the UI for Standing/Special Orders.
- The level of the Ultimate Weapon among reward items will now be displayed as matching your highest weapon level.
- Added the 'Exclude from Select All' filter to the Ancestors Module dismantle screen, making it easier to select multiple modules for dismantling at once.
- The Normal and Challenge buttons for Void Erosion on the World Map will now be grouped.

- Changed some cosmetic items previously issued as rewards for Descendant Exclusive Quests to common items that all Descendants can wear.

- Fixed an issue where the effect of the Unique Ability "Sprint Instinct" of the Ultimate Weapon "Frenzied Locomotive" was incorrectly displayed in languages other than Korean.

- Fixed an issue where the weekly purchase limit for newly added items in the Infiltration Operation Reward Exchange and Exchange Supplies would not reset.
- Fixed an issue where Reactors did not drop from monsters in Infiltration Operation: Magister Lab 400%.
- Fixed an issue where the Onslaught Mode Arche Parameter selection would unintentionally close.
- Fixed an issue where upon completing an Onslaught Mode Challenge, a new Challenge would be received before reset.
- Fixed an issue where the portal between Zone 1 and Zone 2 in Stage 3 of Onslaught Mode would close.
- Fixed an issue where visual effects would not be removed and would overlap under certain conditions during Onslaught Mode gameplay.
- Fixed an issue where the game would occasionally crash while selecting Arche Parameters in Onslaught Mode.
- Fixed an issue where directional button switching did not work in the sliding sections of the Void Vessel story.
- Fixed an issue where Mastery Rank EXP and Crystallization Catalyst rewards were not given in the Bunny Descendant Story quests.
(4) Monsters
- Fixed an issue where, if a player was trapped by the Void Discharger's Confinement effect while airborne, they could escape in an abnormal way through the top of the prison without destroying the prison.
- Fixed an issue where the exit of the prison created by the Void Discharger's Confinement effect spawned only on the right side.
- Fixed an issue where monsters roaming the Battlefield would occasionally move while facing an abnormal direction.

- Fixed an issue where detailed stats were not displayed on the Descendant Module screen.
- Fixed an issue where detailed stats were not displayed on the Dismantle Ancestors Module screen.
- Fixed an issue where other players' Descendants were occasionally displayed alongside your own in the Inventory.
- Updated the description of Container Rewards in the Void Vessel Mission UI to match the current rewards.
- Fixed an issue where the text descriptions for some Awards were not displayed properly.
