Stellaris 4.4.3 just went live with a quick hotfix targeting a few lingering bugs from Monday's 4.4 'Pegasus' release. This is a smaller update, the kind that patches obvious breaks rather than reshaping the meta, but it hits some annoying issues that would've soured the early experience.

The Void Reavers civic no longer requires both First Contact and Nomads, which means you can actually use it without forcing a specific origin combo. The Waystation Pact thresholds have been corrected, and the Defender of the Galaxy opinion modifier is no longer applying when it shouldn't. These are the kind of fixes that seem small on paper but stop players from running into dead ends or unintended penalties mid-game.

Developer Loke notes that more comprehensive improvements are already in the works, so expect a proper patch soon. Until then, check the full notes below for the exact changes.
