Crash fixes and co-op cleanup are the headline work in Hotfix 0.2.6, which dropped today for StarRupture. It's a stability-focused patch rather than a content drop, but given some of the bugs being addressed, it's one players will feel immediately.

The most pressing fix is a crash tied to specific save files when approaching larger bases, the kind of bug that turns a long session into a lost one. Dedicated server hosts also get relief, with a crash on session load and looping battle music in the Forgotten Engine Control Room both resolved. On the co-op side, the T-pose animation bug (triggered when a grenade throw was interrupted by equipping the Harvester) is gone, and several audio issues that left clients either hearing nothing or hearing everyone's dialogue simultaneously have been sorted. Building gets attention too: Pillar Supports could previously be placed in unstable configurations, and Habitat stability on saves created before 0.2.5 was displaying incorrectly. Both are fixed. A new GPU driver warning on launch is a small but sensible addition for an Early Access title still ironing out performance.

Here's everything that changed.
