SCUM Hotfix - 1.3.1.1 Patch Notes (8th July 2026)
Hotfix 1.3.1.1 tackles server stability, inventory mishaps, and weapon bugs that plagued players since June's update.
Gamepires has rolled out hotfix 1.3.1.1 for SCUM, squashing the friction points that emerged after June's larger update. The team's zeroed in on three areas where players were hitting walls: server stability, inventory chaos, and animal balance.
On the server side, two critical crashes are gone. One would tank the server when you spilled liquids out of containers; another would boot you after a big trader purchase. The inventory overhaul fixes several annoying bugs. Items going invisible when you climbed into a vehicle, movement getting blocked when dragging things right or down, and the baffling issue where crafted chests could be sold for actual money.
Hunting's also tighter now. Headshots from large-calibre weapons actually register on animals, and they won't mysteriously use their distant LOD model when you're viewing them through a scope at close range. Animal density has been dialled back across the board, with the global multiplier cut from 1.0 to 0.5 and maximum non-virtual animals reduced from 800 to 500. If your server felt overrun, this should give you breathing room. The full list, including weapon attachment fixes and base building colour persistence, is below.
