Update #3 is now live, and it's a solid pass at addressing the friction points players have been flagging. The headline fix is the hitreg overhaul for melee and close-range shooting, which should make combat feel less like you're firing blanks at enemies who are standing right in front of you.

Beyond that, the movement changes are the real adjustment here. Armed characters now move slower, and strafing and backpedalling carry penalties. Consecutive jumps also cost you speed, which kills bunnyhopping as a movement exploit. These aren't massive nerfs, but they rebalance how you approach combat encounters and force more deliberate positioning.

Graphically, the patch brings proper terrain detail settings, fixes for VFX pop-in with grass and pebbles, and corrects a bunch of baked lighting issues. There's also a new island, Halbmond, and a new compartment called Crow's Nest to explore. The orbital strike now shows distance and won't let you waste it on targets beyond effective range, which prevents one of those annoying mistakes. The full list, including fixes for DLSS support and lootbox duplication exploits, is below.
