Psyonix has rolled out update 2.39 for Rocket League, focusing on fixing some minor cosmetic issues in the game. This update, as per the official patch notes, does not introduce any new content or major gameplay alterations but addresses specific issues to enhance the overall gaming experience.

Rocket League Update 2.39 Patch Notes:

Here’s what’s included in today’s update via the Rocket League Status Twitter/X account:

  • Fixed the Wolverine Slash Goal Explosion so the background behind the goal does not overlap and obscure the explosion.
  • Fixed a bug preventing Monstercat Antennas from being used on third-party Car Bodies.

For those that didn’t know, there’s an ongoing X-MEN ’97 crossover content event in the game. It is ending tomorrow, so if you’re interested in nabbing those, best to get a move on.

“Welcome to the next stage in Soccar’s evolution! From April 23 at 9 AM PT to 9 AM PT on May 3, 2024, Rocket League will mutate as items based on some of the most powerful characters from X-Men blast onto the arena.

Carry on Professor X’s legacy by completing Challenges to unlock Toppers, Player Banners, and other items inspired by Marvel Animation’s X-Men ’97 on Disney+. Also, items based on iconic heroes like Cyclops, Wolverine, and Storm have swiped into the Item Shop. Make a pit stop to check out these Decals and more!”
