Payday 3 3.7 Changelog Patch Notes (7th July 2026)
Payday 3's smaller summer update focuses on a complete 99 Boxes overhaul, plus fixes for mask crashes and UI display bugs.

The Payday 3 team is mostly on holiday this month, but Update 3.7 still delivers one substantial change: a complete rework of 99 Boxes. Following the same playbook as recent overhauls to Turbid Station and Touch the Sky, the heist gets a fresh coat of paint with revised objectives, repositioned loot, improved lighting, and quality-of-life tweaks across the board.
Beyond the headline rework, this patch addresses some annoying friction points. A crash affecting players who'd previously modded their game is now fixed, and the mask inventory should load without disappearing key icons on Xbox. UI issues get attention too: preconfig masks no longer appear as variants, loadout names update properly when swapping between them, and the DLC menu now displays correct prices instead of showing C-Stack icons where cash values should appear.
It's a modest update by design, but 99 Boxes needed this refresh. The full breakdown, including all objective flow changes and the new Contracts, is below.

As we talked about in our recent Future of PAYDAY with Paul Video, July's update is a smaller one as most of the PAYDAY 3 team is out on vacation.
That said, the team has been hard at work at revamping 99 Boxes!
Much like the recent Turbid Station and Touch the Sky reworks, the 99 Boxes rework includes changes to objectives, item placement, lighting and more.Take a look at the recent Behind the Scenes Video where some of the devs go through many of these changes.
