Paralives Patch Notes 0.1.6 (16th July 2026)
Patch 0.1.6 brings vacation day accumulation, proper mirror reflections, and fixes for everything from giant pasta to self-proposals.

Patch 0.1.6 lands today with a proper overhaul to how vacation works. Paras now accumulate days off while employed and can request time away or paid leave over the phone. Behaviour that shifts depending on your chosen Storyteller, which adds some welcome flavour to how different save modes play out.
The other standout addition is mirror rendering. Paras will finally appear in mirrors as intended, a fix that sounds small until you realise how often you're staring into reflective surfaces in a life sim. Long chair animations round out the quality-of-life improvements, giving Paras proper sit-and-stand sequences instead of snapping in and out of position.
Beyond that, this patch is a bug-squashing exercise. There's a fix for Paras proposing to themselves in Together Cards, children no longer wrinkle when aging up from toddler stage, and that cursed giant mushroom pasta meal should finally behave. The patch also addresses a crash when stacking certain items and stops story card notifications from vanishing on save-reload cycles. - Revamped Vacation days: Players now start a new job with vacation days, and can now accumulate vacation days while working and ask for days off or paid leaves over the phone. This also varies depending on the chosen Storyteller.
- Long Chair Animations: New animations have been added for Paras that sit down and stand up from long chairs.
- Mirror Rendering Issues: Paras will now appear properly in mirrors.
- Ask if Single: Will no longer consider Romantic Interest as a relationship.
- Maximum Para Level: When hitting personality level 12, your Para level changes color for added clarity and you no longer acquire experience as 12 is the maximum personality level.
- Train Voices: Each household can now be heard in the tutorial train.
Bug Fixes
- Goodbye Charlie: New Paras are now correctly deleted from save files when a player exits without saving after their creation.
- Custom Images on Mac: Mac players can now also add custom images to the appropriate assets.
- Giant Mushroom Pasta: The mushroom pasta meal should no longer randomly become huge.
- Bulldozing Lots: It no longer freezes the game for a moment.
- Proposing to Yourself: Fixed an instance where a Para could propose to themselves in the Together Cards.
- Wrinkles on Children: Children will no longer acquire wrinkles when aging up from the toddler stage.
- Item Placement Crash: Stacking certain items had the potential to crash Paralives, we have fixed that issue.
- Paras Unloading: Paras should now properly unload from Melino once they reach a town exit point.
- Town Event Skill Bonus: Paras now have their skill learning speed boosted when participating in town events.
- Story Card Availability Save and Reload: Saving and reloading a game while a story card notification is up will no longer delete it upon loading the game.
- “You Have Many Plans for Tomorrow”: This story card should now provide 3 random wants on selection.
- “Make 200 Paradimes”: This Want should now work with more accuracy and account for selling and buying items.
- “Big House 2” Life Goal: This Life Goal can now properly be selected and will not add “Big House 3” instead.
- Hopscotch Forever: Playing hopscotch is now properly cancelled when you need to go to school or work.
- Placing Lots from Library: Players can no longer put down library lots that are bigger than their actual lot space.
- “Level up Outdoorsiness skill”: Paras no longer feel the need to level up this non-existent skill.
- Adults Leveling Up Speech and Potty: It is no longer possible for adults to get the Want to level up either of those skills.
- Among Us Enthusiasts: Computers should no longer have Among Us playing by default on their screen.
- Various Clothing Fixes: Corrected a few assets that were not displaying as intended.
- Various Localization Fixes: We have fixed a few broken strings that were not displaying text properly in some languages.
- Translation Issues: Fixed a few typos and a few untranslated strings.
- Curtain Scaling: Adjusted a scaling issue on a set of curtains.
Known Issues
- Time Inconsistencies: In-game time seems to gradually slow down after about 70 in-game days. We are currently working on a fix but in the meantime, you can adjust your time per minute in the Storyteller settings if this issue ever happens to you.
