Once Human 2.3.8 Bug Fixes Patch Notes (19th May 2026)
Once Human's 2.3.8 patch follows up yesterday's 2.3.7 with more Chef fixes and a handful of interactable and visual bugs.
Hot on the heels of yesterday's 2.3.7 pass, the Once Human development team has pushed another targeted fix with version 2.3.8, and it's still largely cleaning up the Chef class mess.
The biggest practical fixes here are the ingredient loss bug and the failed dish submission issue. If you've been running the Chef and watching your ingredients vanish into the Campfire Stove, or submitting a dish only for it to silently fail, both of those are now resolved. Portable Fridges from the Chef Redeem Shop were also misbehaving, either not applying properly or causing food Durability to display incorrectly when stacking multiple units. Outside the Chef, Grafting Catalysts were occasionally unusable, two interactables in Dangling Vessel Cove and Mirage Monolith Danger Zone were completely broken, and some weapon scopes were glowing in ways they definitely shouldn't. Two Chef-focused patches in two days suggests the class launched with more rough edges than the team anticipated, though I'll give them credit for moving quickly.
Here's everything that changed.
