Once Human 2.3.7 Update Announcement Patch Notes (22nd April 2026)

Dear Metas,

The server maintenance and update is planned for April 22, 2026, at 4:00 PM (PT) and expected to last about 2 hours (actual time may differ). Please plan your game time accordingly for the best experience.

This update includes the upcoming limited-time Starfire Festival celebration, a full RaidZone overhaul, early access testing for the Hyper Brawl mode on Custom Servers, the limited-time launch of the Lightforge Loot Crate \[Celestial Reverie], and a number of recent bug fixes.

After this maintenance, all players will receive the following rewards: Starchrom ×1,000, Mitsuko's Mark ×100, Starwish Token ×300, and Colorful Badge ×30! For even more Starfire Festival rewards, be sure to claim them in-game.

Campfires are already burning across Nalcott, and the annual Starfire Festival is about to begin! To mark the occasion, we've prepared three major reward bundles and warmly invite all Metas to join this limited-time celebration.

\ Fully Upgraded: Three Modes, Three Ways to Play

To better support different survival and combat preferences in RaidZone—whether you favor lighter exploration or intense, high-risk competition—this update formally splits RaidZone into three independent modes. With clearly differentiated rules, each mode offers a more focused and better-matched gameplay experience.

The rules for each mode are as follows:

1. Casual Mode — Easy Entry, Low-Pressure Survival

Scenario Duration: 14 or 28 days. Choose the one that best fits your needs when you sign up.

Territory Attack/Defense (Raiding) Window: 4 hours

Territory Maintenance: Not required

Death Penalty: Only weapons and armor are dropped on death

Recommended for: Metas who want a lighter survival pace, a gentler introduction to RaidZone, or a less punishing PvP experience. This mode gives you more room to explore, develop, and settle in!

2. Standard Mode — Classic Combat, Balanced Progression

Scenario Duration: 7 days

Territory Attack/Defense (Raiding) Window: 8 hours

Territory Maintenance: Required

Death Penalty: Full drop on death

Recommended for: Metas who enjoy classic survival PvP and the thrill of taking loot from others. This represents the core RaidZone experience, designed to balance combat pressure with progression.

3. Hardcore Mode — Maximum Pressure, Maximum Challenge

Scenario Duration: 7 days

Territory Attack/Defense (Raiding) Window: Up to 12 hours

Territory Maintenance: Required

Death Penalty: Full drop on death

Recommended for: Hardcore Metas who want relentless pressure and high-stakes decision-making! A longer defense window means harsher raids and fiercer counterattacks. If you want the toughest survival experience, this is it!

The RaidZone scenario selection screen will also be divided into Casual, Standard, and Hardcore sections, allowing you to choose a server by mode.

\ New Enemy "Morphic Echoite" Appears

As Stardust contamination spreads, even more cunning predators have emerged across Nalcott. After this update, a new special enemy, the Morphic Echoite, will begin appearing in advanced strongholds. Stay sharp, Metas!

Morphic Echoites are built to deceive. When undisturbed, they perfectly mimic standard Echoite Crates and lie in wait throughout a stronghold. The moment a Meta walks up unsuspectingly and tries to open one for supplies, the disguise drops and the creature reveals its hostile true form. So when looting advanced strongholds, be careful around those suspiciously inviting crates sitting by themselves.

Conventional weapons are much less effective against Morphic Echoites. Their hardened shells reduce damage from regular bullets, so if you want to take one down quickly, you'll need explosives such as rocket launchers. Before heading out to loot, make sure you pack some heavy firepower.

After being defeated, a Morphic Echoite will burn briefly before dropping multiple rewards. Be sure to pick them up quickly before someone else does.

\ Stronghold Treasure Hunting Upgraded: New Special Items and Rare Collectibles!

In the perilous RaidZone, survival takes more than skill—sometimes luck matters too! After this maintenance update, the looting experience in wilderness strongholds is getting a major upgrade. From now on, any crate you open inside a stronghold has a small chance to contain special items or collectibles, giving you even more to look forward to while exploring.

Core value: These items come with powerful special effects that can make a big difference in both survival and combat inside the RaidZone. Some of the rarest ones can even change the course of an entire run, or turn a desperate fight around at the last second.

Put these collectibles into a disassembly machine, and you can break them down into a large amount of usable materials to build up supplies faster!

\ New Advanced Stronghold: "Card Room Securement Silo"

The Attacker's Base, located just southwest of the Greywater Industrial Zone, will be upgraded to Card Room Securement Silos after this maintenance update. To enter, you'll need the required Supply Cards, Fuses, and other related items. Combat inside is intense, so make sure you bring enough gear, ammo, and supplies. The silos are packed with resources and ready for you to explore!

\ Experience Optimization

1. Improved the RaidZone map to fix areas where minerals did not spawn at all or spawned too sparsely, with the goal of making mineral distribution more even within each resource area.

2. After this maintenance update, airdrops called in with Echoite signal flares will float on the water if they land there, just like Rosetta Transporter airdrops, instead of sinking to the bottom.

3. After this maintenance update, the turning performance of Rosetta aircraft will be improved by increasing their turn speed.

4. Improved the Survival Manual so it now shows only RaidZone-related content, with a simpler tab layout.

5. Crafting for the Crude Pickaxe will be removed after this maintenance update.

\ Bug Fixes

1. Fixed an issue where invisible walls could appear in some areas.

2. Fixed an issue where the Nuke Tank could fail to spawn under certain conditions.

3. Fixed an issue where the Nuke Tank's spawn location could differ from its map marker under certain conditions.

\[Custom Server] Updates

\[Custom Server] Hyper Brawl mode enters early access testing

Want an all-out fight with rules you set yourself? The brand-new Custom Server mode, Hyper Brawl, is now officially available in early access testing. Server hosts can start it with one click by selecting \[Once Human: RaidZone (Hyper Brawl)] in the settings menu.

In this mode, the Server Host becomes the true "director" of the battlefield, with a high level of control over how matches play out:

Define custom combat zones: Use the dedicated panel to freely set the size of the combat area on the map. Whether you want a map-wide chase or a close-quarters arena-style brawl, the choice is yours! All player spawns and respawns will be confined to the selected area, making battles more focused and intense.

Control the pace of progression: Think the pace is too slow, or want a much more brutal survival experience? Server Hosts can freely adjust progression speed within the zone and shape exactly how fast and how intense each fight becomes.

Advanced incentive settings: To make battles even more exciting, advanced settings also let Server Hosts customize contest objectives and create exclusive leaderboards. Clear loot goals and top-ranking bragging rights will give every Meta another reason to fight harder!

During early access testing, we invite everyone to try Hyper Brawl for themselves and share feedback through the feedback platform and community channels, so we can keep improving Custom Servers together!

\[Custom Server] New Custom Server Features

To improve the experience and efficiency of running custom servers, we've upgraded and optimized multiple features as follows:

1. Added a customizable announcement that shows when players enter the server. This helps the server host to promptly relay information to players on the server.

2. Added a feature that lets the server host save scenario settings templates. This helps the server host to efficiently manage and reuse scenario settings.

3. To let server hosts unleash their creativity and put together fun game modes, the following settings will be added after this maintenance update:

a) Server hosts can open their personal facilities for all players to use.

2) Hive player capacity can be reduced to a minimum of one player.

3) Vehicles can be disabled.

4) Metas can be prohibited from building certain facilities.

5) Issuable items: Tech Enhancement Points ×1,000, Energy Link ×1,000, Starchrom ×1,000.

RaidZone only:

a) Respawn cooldowns for players' Territory Terminals, Sleeping Bags, Beds, and Campsites can be modified.

b) Adrenaline Shots can be disabled.

c) Territory facility and material limits can be lowered.

d) Rewards for killing Metas: RaidZone Chips/Energy Links/Starchrom.

e) Rewards for online duration: RaidZone Chips/Energy Links/Starchrom.

f) All Deviations can be used in RaidZone mode.

g) Players can be prohibited from crafting certain items.

4. To enrich the custom server experience, after this maintenance and update, a batch of new functional items will be added to RaidZone.

The items include: Rosetta Bio-Gel, Backpack Expansion, Load Handling, Improved Compound Fertilizer, Giant Crate, Airtight Diving Suit, and Dense Energy Device.

To thank everyone for supporting Custom Servers, a brand-new play reward event is officially launching. Each month, you can complete designated activity and challenge tasks in Custom Servers to claim generous rewards.

3. Players can use RaidZone Chips to purchase supplies in the In-Server Shop on custom servers.

4. Added new Custom Server leaderboards for kill/death ratio and wealth.

Visional Wheel S3 is nearing its end. In May, the wheel will spin again and reshape the entire face of Nalcott! Make the most of the time you have left to finish exploring the Deviant Symbiosis, take on its Deviant challenges, and earn exclusive rewards! "Your outfit deserves to be seen. Your taste deserves to be appreciated."

Character Display now includes a \ feature. When viewing another player's outfit, you can tap the Like button to show your appreciation! You can like each character once per week, giving outstanding looks the recognition they deserve.

• Like interaction: You can enter another player's Character Display through their namecard and like their look directly while viewing it! You can also quickly like character outfits from the dungeon team interface and dungeon settlement interface. Access path:

1) Character display: Click Namecard -> Character Display, then click the heart button next to the avatar in the top-right corner to send a Like.

2) Dungeon Settlement: On the team dungeon settlement screen, click the button in the top-right corner to open the Like tab, then click the heart button next to the character to send a Like.

3) Team Interface: The heart button under a friend's profile also shows how many Likes they've received. You can also click their avatar to open their namecard and leave a Like there.

• Style recognition: Your Character Display will show how many likes you've received, putting your styling skills on display! You can also open your own Character Display from "Edit Namecard" to check how many new likes you got this month and who liked you recently.

• Character Display background settings: Added background lighting adjustment options so you can better show off your look!

"One click is all it takes to turn every photo into a piece of art!"

The new Smart Filter feature is now live! When opening the image-sharing pop-up, you can apply a magic filter and instantly give your screenshots a more artistic look!

• Smart filters: Choose from multiple filter styles and spice up your screenshots with one click! After purchasing cosmetics, you can also generate posters directly with special poses, exclusive scenes, and even your nickname signature!

• Real-time preview: Filter effects are previewed live, so you can try different looks and share the one you like best!

• Auto-save: Generated images are automatically saved to your album, and you can edit them again later.

After launch, Metas can use Smart Filter up to 30 times per day. We'll continue improving the feature with more filter options and higher usage limits in future updates.

Lightforge Loot Crate Guarantee System Sharing Optimizations

To make it easier for Metas to get the cosmetics they want, we're updating the Lightforge Loot Crate guarantee system so progress can be shared more smoothly.

After the April 22 version update (PT), all Lightforge Loot Crates will display a shared-progress indicator.

1. Similar crates will now share the same guarantee progress. For example, after a 10-draw in a crate with "Lightforge Gem guaranteed within 20 draws," all crates of the same type will update to "Lightforge Gem guaranteed within 10/20 draws." Switching crates will not reset your progress!

2. Different crate types will still track guarantee progress separately. For example, guarantee progress for a crate with "Lightforge Collection guaranteed within 30 draws" is independent from a crate with "Lightforge Gem guaranteed within 20 draws."

3. Your previous draws won't be wasted. Any guarantee progress you built up in Lightforge Loot Crates before the April 22 update (PT) will be preserved and continue by default until that guarantee cycle is completed. Once the corresponding grand prize is obtained and the cycle refreshes, your progress will move into the shared guarantee system automatically. You can also choose to forfeit the old guarantee calculation through the shared-guarantee pop-up and start directly from your shared counter for that crate type.

4. Even if a crate is removed, your guarantee progress remains. Your draw history will stay on record and carry over the next time you open a crate of the same type.

Combo Crate: A Brand-New System is Now Live!

New Events

\[Super Weekend] Double rewards for a limited time!

Weekends on Nalcott are getting even more rewarding! After this update, \[Super Weekend] will add limited-time double bonus benefits to help Metas progress faster and stock up more easily!

The double bonus rules are as follows:

1. Double Battle Pass Exp

During the event, Battle Pass Exp gains will be doubled.

Weekly limit: You can earn up to 600 extra Battle Pass Exp per week through this bonus, making it easier to max out your Battle Pass rewards.

2. Challenge Double Drops

Monolith dungeons: During the event, item rewards from clearing Monolith dungeons will be doubled. You get 3 double-drop chances per week.

High-Difficulty Public Crisis Events: Rewards from these events will also be doubled, with 3 double-drop chances per week.

Reset rule: These weekly double-reward counts will refresh every week, so plan your weekend playtime accordingly!

Special note: To preserve game balance, Deviations, mods, and first-clear dungeon rewards are not included in this double-drop event.

The instant-claim "Reunion Gifts" pool has been expanded significantly. We've added rewards such as Stardust Secret Crates and Battle Pass coupons. Just log in to claim them and quickly rebuild your supplies so you can jump right back into the current scenario!

Stardust Secret Crates added to shop exchanges

1. Stardust Secret Crate S12 has been added to the following shops:

1) Challenge Shop: Can be redeemed using Mitsuko's Mark. 5 Stardust Secret Crate S12 (Epic) and 10 Stardust Secret Crate S12 (Rare) can be redeemed monthly.

2) Starwish Shop: Can be redeemed using Starwish Token. 5 Stardust Secret Crate S12 (Epic) and 20 Stardust Secret Crate S12 (Rare) can be redeemed per period.

3) Battle Pass Shop: Can be redeemed using Silver Keys. 10 Stardust Secret Crate S12 (Epic) can be redeemed monthly.

4) Cosmetic Token Shop: Can be redeemed using Cosmetic Tokens. 30 Stardust Secret Crate S12 (Epic) can be redeemed per period.

2. Stardust Secret Crate S12 will be removed together with Battle Pass S12. After that, the related shop portals will be updated to Stardust Secret Crate S13. Please watch for later announcements for details.

Appearance Change

1. Added a reset function for body type, face shape, and hair/makeup. Clicking the Reset button on the relevant settings page will reset all values in that category to your currently saved setup.

2. Improved the visuals and interaction animations on the makeup screen.

3. Improved the preview rules for headwear color cards. You can now preview the hair color on other headwear items based on the color card currently applied to your saved headwear.

4. The appearance change system will now display weight information.

Camera

1. The photo system now supports all action types.

2. Improved how action categories are displayed in both the Actions and Cosmetics screens.

Market Bounties

Completing Market Bounties now grants Battle Pass EXP.

Blueprints

Applies outside RaidZone mode and the Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve scenario: Expanded the range of blueprints that can be unlocked with Starchrom. With the exception of blueprints tied to tech progression, all remaining blueprints can now be unlocked directly with Starchrom.

Mods

1. Any Legendary Mod Crates that dropped before the update but were not claimed will be sent by mail after maintenance. Please claim them promptly.

2. Mod Selection Crates now support batch opening for easier use.

Cosmetics

1. Improved the lighting in the Cosmetics screen.

2. Added a pop-up window when switching weapons that lets you quickly carry over your current sticker setup.

3. Added Deviation cosmetics to the Appearance Gallery.

Tech (does not apply in RaidZone)

1. The Reverse Engineering feature at the Tech Research Workbench now supports adding items in batches for research.

2. Slightly increased the drop rate of Nalcott Easter Eggs.

3. Added more coffee bean drops in the wilderness.

4. Added a new item: Telescope.

5. Increased the drop rate of finished weapons in Pro and Nightmare difficulty across all relevant modes.

Territory Construction

1.Water and Electricity Connection Mode has been fully upgraded: To make territory building smoother for Metas, we've made a series of targeted improvements to Water and Electricity Connection Mode.

1) Reduced visual clutter: In this mode, you can now select only water pipes, wires, and related water and electricity facilities. Other irrelevant information is hidden, making the view much cleaner.

2) Improved controls: The selection range for wires and water pipes has been expanded, making connections much easier and more accurate.

Fixed an issue where the high heels on the female fashion set Golden Drifter produced incorrect footstep sound effects.
