Mecha BREAK Update NOTICE Patch Notes (8th June 2026)

A hefty balance pass reshapes the striker meta, while Operation VERGE finally gets surrender mechanics and Spectral Nexus kicks off Cycle 2.

Mecha BREAK's June 9 maintenance is dropping a balance overhaul that touches nearly every striker in the roster. FALCON gets the biggest push, higher damage across both forms, faster transformation, and a 15 m/s speed bump that'll make it threatening in the air. HURRICANE's armor regen jumps from 750 to 1,200 per second, cutting its defensive cooldown in half. INFERNO's reload time drops by half a second, and its Booster Kit now cuts reload time to 3 seconds while active. These aren't minor tweaks; they're reshaping how each mech plays.

Operation VERGE finally gets surrender votes after 5 minutes, requiring 4 votes to pass, a feature that should ease out of stomps without forcing 20-minute slogs. Spectral Nexus kicks off Cycle 2 with leaderboard resets, improved boss visibility on the harder levels, and a brand-new Restricted Zone boss called TATRA. The store's rotating seasonal gear and a new Mashmak wreckage despawn system round things out.

Maintenance runs 6 hours starting June 9 at 12:00 UTC+8, and all pilots logging in within 14 days get 1,000 Mission Tokens as compensation.

Buff Nerf Fix Tweak

Attention Pilots:

Mecha BREAK will undergo scheduled maintenance starting June 9 at 12:00 (UTC+8). Login and gameplay will be unavailable during this period. Estimated downtime: 6 hours (subject to change—check official announcements for updates). Upon completion, all Pilots who log in within 14 days of maintenance will receive a routine maintenance package via mail (1,000 Mission Tokens, not counted toward seasonal accumulation).

Below are the main changes in this update:

Striker Balance Adjustments

FALCON

  • Main Weapon: Autocannon
  • Biped Form damage per shot: 900 → 1,100.
  • Winged Form damage per shot: 330 → 400.
  • Aux 2: Winged Form Module
    • Reduced transformation startup by 0.3s — weapons can now be used faster after entering Winged Form. Cooldown after exiting Winged Form reduced by 0.1s for faster re-entry.
    • Top speed: 145 m/s → 160 m/s.
    • Strafe speed: 70 m/s → 80 m/s.
    • Ascend/descend speed: 70 m/s → 80 m/s.
    • Top ascend/descend speed: 100 m/s → 110 m/s.

    ALPHARD

    • Aux 1: Light Multilock Missile
    • Improved post-launch flight trajectory. Significantly improved hit rate at close range.

    HURRICANE

    • Base Stats
    • Fluid Armor Regen: 750/s → 1,200/s.
    • Fluid Armor Depletion Cooldown: 4s → 2.2s.
  • Main Weapon: Energy Blaster
    • Burst damage: 10,000 → 12,000.
  • Sidearm: Complex Shield
    • Shield Regen: 1,600/s → 2,000/s.

    INFERNO

    • Main Weapon & Sidearm: Charged Splitter
    • Reload time: 6.5s/shot → 6s/shot.
    • Charge time: 2.1s → 1.8s.
  • Aux 3: Booster Kit
    • New effect: While Aux 3 is active, Main Weapon and Sidearm reload time is reduced from 6s to 3s per shot, and fire rate is increased.

    STELLARUS

    • Sidearm: Assault Warblade
    • Improved animation responsiveness when entering guard stance.
    • Can now fire projectiles while moving. (Firing a projectile during the Main Weapon's Boost Attack still cancels the attack.)
    • Increased forward displacement during combo slashes.
    • Combo slash hits now inflict 0.5s forced Stagger on the target.
  • Aux 1: Composite Tactical Claw
    • If the claw misses, 6s of reload time is refunded.
  • Aux 3: Sword Drone
    • Damage: 5,000 → 6,000.

    WELKIN

    • Aux 3: Defensive Field
    • Cooldown refund per second of early cancel: 3s → 2.5s.
    • Minimum cooldown: 3s → 6.5s.

    PANTHER

    • Main Weapon: Lance & Sidearm: Complex Shield
    • Successfully parrying with the Complex Shield now reduces Lance charge time by 50% for the next 2 seconds.

    MIKILLJA

    • Aux 1: Sling Grappler
    • Grappling an Ultra-heavy Striker now reduces movement speed by 40%.
  • Aux 2: Chariot Form
    • The additional shield deployed when entering Chariot Form no longer parries melee attacks.

    SERENITH

    • Aux 1: Disruption Grappler
    • When using the Disruption Grappler to remotely interact with map objects (e.g., retrieving keys, activating transports, capturing data nodes), movement speed is reduced by 40%. Movement speed is unaffected when using on enemy Strikers.

    NARUKAMI

    • Main Weapon: Charged Beam Cannon
    • Shots fired in Sniper Mode now have stronger terrain penetration.
  • Aux 1: Decoy Drone
    • HP: 12,000 → 18,000.

    NORNE

    • Aux 1: High-Explosive Arrow
    • Damage per shot: 21,000 → 19,000.
  • Aux 3: Optical Camouflage
    • Duration: 10s → 8s.
    • Cooldown refund per second of early cancel: 0.5s → 0.7s.
    • Minimum cooldown: 8.5s → 8.1s.

    HEL

    • Aux 2: Pulse Trap Drone
    • Immobilization effect duration: 2s → 1.6s.
  • Aux 3: Deception Kit
    • Cooldown after taking damage and triggering lock-break: 1s → 1.5s.
    • Cooldown refund per second of early cancel: 3s → 2.7s.
    • Minimum cooldown: 3s → 5.1s.

    Operation VERGE

    Squads in Operation VERGE (Ranked, Casual, and Custom Rooms) can now initiate a surrender vote after 300 seconds. A vote passes with 4 or more in favor. After a failed vote, the team must wait 90 seconds before calling another.

    Operation STORM

    Spectral Nexus

    • Leaderboard
    • The Spectral Nexus leaderboard will reset on June 8 at 04:00, kicking off Cycle 2. The next reset is scheduled for June 22 at 04:00. Rewards will be sent via mail after each reset. (The June 8 reset will not issue rewards; normal reward distribution begins with the June 22 reset.)
    • After the update, the Spectral Nexus tab will display leaderboard rewards and your current ranking.
    • Improved boss HP bar visibility on Level 10, 30, and 40.
    • Increased overall clear rewards for Level 10 through 29.
    • Rebalanced enemy Striker difficulty across all levels, except the Level 30 and 40 bosses.
    • After the update, you can open an Upgrade Details panel from the Upgrade selection screen and the shop to review all active Upgrades.

    Mashmak

    • Restricted Zone Key III now unlocks a brand-new Restricted Zone where you will face the Colossal Striker TATRA. Loot drop rules remain unchanged.
    • After the update, when you defeat MORENA, CONSTANTINE, MAKALU, or an Exile-class Frigate in Mashmak, their wreckage will now despawn along with their drops. If your Striker gets stuck between wreckage and terrain, it will free up once the wreckage disappears.

    Store

    • General Store Limited Edition Seasonal Sets: Items will rotate after the update. Current Outfit Sets and Accessories will be removed and replaced with three returning sets and their accessories.
    • Ace Recruitment will rotate its discounts after the update. Discounts on STRIKER ARCHIVE: ALPHARD MK-I and other Striker Archives will end, and discounts on STRIKER ARCHIVES: FALCON CUSTOM and STELLARUS MK-III will begin.
    • General Store SuppliesRockets & Keys has been renamed to Airdrops.
    • Returning seasonal weapon skins previously listed under General Store Limited EditionSeasonal Sets have been moved to General StoreStrikerWeapons.

    System Adjustments & Bug Fixes

    System Adjustments

    • PANTHER Advanced Challenge: Added 10 seconds to the time limit for Stage 3 ("Neutralize all FALCONS").
    • Replaced Pilot Chiara Murphy's boarding BGM.
    • Inventory capacity can now be expanded to 900 slots.

    Bug Fixes

    • Fixed an issue where Perfect Mod stat values didn't match their actual effects.
    • Fixed a bug in Spectral Nexus where equipping two or more Durability Leech Chip IIs caused attacks to stop restoring HP.
    • Fixed an issue where Strikers could occasionally be teleported back to their initial deployment point from the Longmen Launch Site transport.
    • Fixed a bug in Spectral Nexus where equipping the Melee Glider Pack and stacking multiple Sword Shockwave A chips caused shockwaves to fire way too fast.
    • Fixed a bug in Spectral Nexus where the Charged Beam Cannon Chip B had abnormal spawn conditions.
    • Fixed an issue in the General Store where the Striker list on the left didn't display correctly after previewing a Pattern.
    • Fixed an issue where Strikers could occasionally clip out of the Restricted Zone map.
    • Fixed abnormal controller vibration in certain situations.
    • Fixed an incorrect icon for Mod Box · Perfect.
    • Fixed the Valkyrie Wings not unfolding correctly during the MVP animation.
