Three days after the June 9th update, Mecha BREAK is pulling the emergency brake on Spectral Nexus difficulty, and actually listening to what players complained about.

Mecha BREAK's June 9th Spectral Nexus overhaul lasted exactly three days before the devs admitted it was too much. According to the official update notice, a live hotfix deployed today rolls back all enemy HP, damage, and combat stats to June 2nd levels, basically nuking the difficulty spike that had pilots furious.

Here's what actually matters: the boosted Level 10-29 rewards stick around, which is the part players wanted. But the real carrot is credit payouts getting a significant bump to offset the resource costs of crafting builds. That's not just a numbers tweak; it's acknowledgment that the grind had crossed from challenging into punishing.

No downtime required, and runs started after 4:30 PM UTC+8 will use the new rules. This is the kind of quick turnaround that builds trust, the devs heard the feedback and acted instead of ghosting until the next scheduled patch cycle.

Attention Pilots:

Since the June 9th update, we've received a lot of feedback about the Spectral Nexus experience. To address these issues as quickly as possible, we'll be deploying a live hotfix on June 12th at 5:00 PM (UTC+8). Here's what's changing:

  • All enemy HP, damage, and other combat stats in Spectral Nexus have been rolled back to June 2nd levels.
  • The boosted Level 10–29 rewards introduced in the June 9th update will remain active.
  • Credit payouts from Spectral Nexus runs will be significantly increased to help offset resource costs when crafting your builds.

This is a live update — no downtime required. If you're already logged in, your current session won't be affected. Any Spectral Nexus runs started after 4:30 PM (UTC+8) on June 12th will use the updated drop rules and enemy stats. Plan your runs accordingly, and thank you for your feedback and support!
