Marvel Rivals Patch Notes (15th July 2026)

Marvel Rivals' 16 July patch lands tomorrow at 09:00 UTC with no server downtime, and the big draw is Van Dyne Couture. A new event that hands out Magneto's Magnetic Vintage costume for free if you complete the missions. That's a proper incentive to log in, especially if you've been sleeping on Magneto.

The real work here is visual cleanup. NetEase has dialed back the battlefield chaos by optimising effects across Jubilee's base abilities and a sprawling list of team-up combinations: Gods of Thunder (Storm-Thor), Mr. & Mrs. X (Rogue-Gambit), Voltaic Union (Captain America-Thor), and dozens more. If you've found yourself squinting through ability spam, this should help. The studio also fixed a camera animation glitch on Storm and Thor's team-up that was throwing off your aim, and tightened up the Practice Range so bots stay still when you tell them to.

On the cosmetics side, Hawkeye's Bed-Stuy's Best Bundle and Devil Dinosaur's Jeff the Dinosaur chroma drop 17 July, alongside Invisible Woman's Baxter Building Beauty costume (available from 16 July). The Season 3 Battle Pass rerun opens tomorrow through 30 July if you missed it first time round. Full details on every visual effect optimisation and team-up ability tweak are below.

Rogue Range Protocol: Fixed an issue where turning off target movement in the Practice Range parameters and then starting a training session could still spawn moving bots. We've tightened up the subroutines, they'll stay put now!
Storm & Thor's Targeting Turbulence: Fixed a visual glitch where the camera animation for the Gods of Thunder (Storm - Thor) base effect Team-Up Ability was unintentionally throwing off aim. The skies are clear and Storm's striking true once again!

System

- Dusted for prints and swept away a few minor bugs causing issues in the Death of Apocalypse mini-game. Unraveling the mysteries of En Sabah Nur's demise will now proceed without a hitch.

Console

- Addressed a bug on Xbox where the trophy overview progress was desynced from actual completion after unlocking an achievement. Your gamerscore now displays flawlessly!
