Marvel Rivals 20260604 Patch Notes (3rd June 2026)

No downtime, a handful of targeted bug fixes, and Jeff the Land Shark finally gets his groove on loop. Here's what's in the June 4th patch.

No server downtime for this one. Marvel Rivals' Version 20260604 update goes live June 4th at 09:00 UTC, and it's a small but clean patch focused on fixing some weird edge-case bugs.

The two hero fixes stand out. Black Cat's Faltine Flame Orb was losing its Reveal effect whenever she and a teammate got swallowed by Jeff's Ultimate, which is exactly the kind of chaotic interaction that can silently cost you a fight before you even know what happened. Rogue's Team-Up with Invisible Woman was also misfiring, with her kinetic blast failing to deal damage when it hit Sue Storm's force shield. Both are fixed here, and they're the sort of low-visibility bugs that competitive players will actually notice. Streamer Mode also gets a proper fix after leaking party member nicknames in Private Chat, which rather defeats the point.

On the lighter side, Jeff the Land Shark's Primal Groove emote now loops continuously instead of playing once and stopping. Important. New store bundles for Mantis and Iron Man also arrive on June 5th. NetEase teased that Cyclops is close, so keep an eye on the Faltine Flame Orb fix if you're a Black Cat main heading into that release window.

Fixes and Optimizations

Heroes

1. Black Cat's Aquatic Blind Spot: Fixed a rather bizarre interaction where if Black Cat and a teammate were gobbled up by Jeff the Land Shark's Ultimate Ability, her active Faltine Flame Orb would lose its Reveal effect. Cats may hate the water, but Felicia's mystic surveillance is now fully waterproof!
2. Rogue's Force-Field Friction: Resolved a kinetic anomaly where Rogue's Team-Up Ability, Hearts as One, would occasionally fail to deal its intended explosive damage if the kinetic blast collided with the Invisible Woman's force shield. Sue Storm is tough, but Rogue's Southern hospitality will now properly blast those around the shield as intended!

Other

1. S.H.I.E.L.D. Encryption Secured: Fixed a UI bug where the anonymity feature in Streamer Mode failed to conceal the other party's nickname within Private Chat windows. Your secret identities are safe once more!
2. Khonshu's Restored Relic: Fixed a visual anomaly where the Ankh jewel textures mysteriously vanished from Moon Knight's Suave Spector costume. The artifact's mystic luster has been fully restored to its moonlit glory.
3. Jeff's Endless Groove: We've tweaked Jeff the Land Shark's Primal Groove emote so it now plays in a continuous loop. The best boy in the Chronoverse can now keep the prehistoric rhythm going as long as he wants!

The Marvel Rivals universe is ever-evolving; we have plenty more surprises and changes in store, and Cyclops is right around the corner! Stay tuned to our official announcements for more!
