Marvel Rivals 20260430 Patch Notes (29th April 2026)
Marvel Rivals' April 30th patch brings a full Avengers cinematic crossover mode, a Black Cat double-trigger fix, and the return of Chrono-Rush.
The big draw in patch 20260430 is the Avengers Cinematic Crossover, a new limited mode called Path to Doomsday: The Avengers that runs from April 30th through May 28th. You pick a side, Avengers or Loki, and replay the Battle of New York. There's also a Times Square screening area where watching two minutes of Avengers movie clips unlocks a free Gallery Card, which is a low-effort reward but a fun bit of fan service.
On the bug-fix side, Black Cat gets a notable correction. Her Fortune's Favor ability could trigger both Claw Whip and Phantom Pursuit simultaneously under specific grapple conditions, which was clearly unintended and strong enough to matter in a fight. Moon Knight also gets a Blood Hunt fix, where the Full Moon Spin Enhancement Gear was miscalculating its Cooldown Reduction display and Rating score. Neither fix reshapes the meta, but Black Cat players will feel it.
Chrono-Rush returns for two weeks with no token cap, so if you've been putting off grinding, now's the window. The patch goes live April 30th at 09:00 UTC with no server downtime. Everything in the update is listed below.

Fixes and Optimizations
Heroes
1. Black Cat's Double-Dipping Dilemma: Fixed a rare issue where landing a grapple on an enemy with Turn of Fortune could unintentionally bypass restrictions, allowing both the Claw Whip and Phantom Pursuit from her Fortune's Favor ability to trigger and take effect simultaneously. Even the world's most talented cat burglar can't pull off a heist of that magnitude at the exact same time! Her luck has now been rebalanced.
Blood Hunt
1. Moon Knight's Full Moon Math: Fixed a bug where the Full Moon Spin Enhancement Gear Extended Effect couldn't quite wrap its head around Khonshu's complicated demands, causing the upper and lower limits of its Cooldown Reduction to display incorrectly and miscalculating its Rating score. The Fist of Khonshu's calculations are now as sharp as his crescent darts!
