Marvel Rivals 20260423 Patch Notes (22nd April 2026)
Dracula's loose in New York and there's a free Emma Frost costume on the table, Marvel Rivals' April 23rd patch has a bit of everything.
Dracula is apparently New York's problem now. The Version 20260423 patch drops tomorrow, April 23rd at 09:00 UTC, and is Blood Hunt, a limited PvE mode running until July 30th where you assemble a squad to clear out a vampire infestation following a breakout at The Vault. I'm cautiously curious, PvE modes in live-service hero shooters can go either way, but the premise is at least more interesting than a generic wave defence.
Alongside that, the Hellfire Gala 2026 event goes live at the same time and runs until May 28th. The big draw is Emma Frost's Gala Glam costume, which NetEase actually promised last year and is now earnable for free through Gala missions. Following through on a promise like that deserves a mention. Phoenix and Moon Knight also get new costumes as part of the event rewards.
On the fixes side, there's one patch: a rare bug where Cloak & Dagger's Ultimate Ability dash could freeze permanently under poor network conditions. Small fix, but if it happened to you mid-match, it was infuriating. Full patch notes below.
